Miss me?
I’ve been working hard, and getting ready for the National Eisteddfod of Wales this fall! I don’t mean to overload you with new news, but I’ve also managed to move myself to Austin, Texas – an incredible town for arts and music. I’m a little overwhelmed, and I’ve only been here a few days!
We’re renting a piano for the house, so that I can keep rehearsals close by, and I’m speaking with a few pianists who may be able to help me out with competition music (and some who might like to play some of those jazz standards with me!). I’m really excited, I can’t wait to get started. Jitter!
I’m definitely still getting settled, but my schedule will be more music-friendly here than it was in Youngstown, and that makes me really happy. If you live in Austin and have been following this blog, drop me a note – I’d love to meet you!
