Practical Support
I’m always looking for information, referrals and volunteers on the following items, and I’d be very grateful for your help on them!
Accompanists, instrumentalists and other musicians local and abroad. I’m always looking for musicians to collaborate with, especially when traveling to perform in another city where I don’t have current music connections. If you know someone, please introduce us!
Room and board while traveling. If you have a place I can stay while in town for a performance, I’d be very grateful for the heads up. If this is you, email to let me know so that I can incorporate your generosity into my travel plans.
Information while traveling. I’m not yet an experienced world traveler, and I still have a lot to learn about the best ways and routes, especially while outside the United States. If you can offer me expertise on travel inside or outside the U.S., I would be very grateful for the help!
Internet savvy, promotional skills, an extra hand. You can tell that I’m doing a lot of this on my own, and these days, it squeezes into my off hours. Though I do many of the same things professionally, I can only do so much at a time. If you or someone you know would like to get in here and get your hands dirty to help me make this project better, broader and more exciting, I would love your assistance.
Emotional Support
Emotional support is a big deal. At times, it feels like I’m trying to accomplish the impossible — and your letters and emails and words of encouragement are what make the difference between success and failure.
I would love to receive email from you, and if you have my mailing address, I would love to receive letters as well. If you feel the urge, please don’t hold back. The days I hear from people just like you are the days my life is that much brighter, and my work comes that much more easily.
